Challenge Top Entries are.....

          • Sally Red - Voter's Choice
          • Jeanne Loving - Judge's Choice
          • Leigh Schoen - Honorable Mention

A big "Thank You" to both our challenge sponsors and participants for making this such an exciting challenge.
All of the entries were wonderful and could convince any material girl to hop in the car and do groceries! Great job everyone!

All entries used "stash" material and/or notions, keeping with the Stash to Treasure theme. Those that have been styling their bags at the local grocery stores have reported that they are receiving great comments from fellow shoppers.

Congratulations to the Voter's Choice, Judge's Choice and Honorable Mention entries!

  Voter's Choice

Sally Red
created her bag and accessories from stash items. Her bag was created using waterproof, outdoor fabric purchased from a garage sale.

She added black and white striped cotton binding on the tote, reinforcing the handle area with heavy interfacing. The matching coupon carrier was created with left over scraps from bag.The matching key fob was created with left over binding and belting

Then Sally resized and edited the apple design and added a little poem with lettering. That way if she forgets her grocery list, at least she knows what she needs to make desert.

Judge's Choice

Jeanne Loving used the Sew4Home Insulated Bag pattern so that she can keep her items cold on the drive home.

Then she added machine embroidery to suede and enhanced the design with chenille, giving the design a great dramatic effect.

On the back she added chalkboard fabric. That way you can write your grocery list out, or if you have small children, they can draw on the board and entertain themselves, making your shopping trip a little more pleasant.

LeighSchoen

Honorable Mention

Leigh Schoen named her bag "An Apple a Day" which fits perfectly.

She made her bag from red and black canvas using the Bertina Studio shopping bag pattern.

Then she added contrasting apple fabric from her stash. Apple embroideries were resized to fit on the front and the handles of the bag and lettering was added to the front.

The inside of the handles are lined with felt for comfort.

Thank you to our other entries - Everyone did such a wonderful job!
